This week Maxim Reshetnikov, Russian Minister of Economic Development, visited the Novomet site of RUSNANO.
During the trip there was a meeting whose main topic was “The development of industrial robotics and microelectronics in Russia”.
The Minister noted that the government has prepared measures to support technology companies based on 3 main elements:
- Formation of guaranteed product sales
- Availability of funds with preferential and guaranteed interest rate
- Special tax regime.
Particular attention will be paid to the development of R&D.
Earlier, on July 12th, the Ministry of Industry and Trade also proposed a significant expansion of funding for the direction. The Ministry of Economic Development plans to develop additional measures to integrate domestic robotics in the production cycle of Russian industrial companies.
